Our Animals

We rotate our animals on pasture using permaculture practices and use non-GMO feed. Happy animals, living the good life!

Pastured Pigs - We raise our pigs on silvopasture in the wooded areas of our farm. We raise heritage breeds, as they are well suited to pasture-raising and produce excellent pork.

Heritage broilers are more flavorful and tend to have better quality of life than traditional Cornish Cross meat chickens.
At this time we raise heritage broiler chickens for our own consumption, but we document the process on social media.

Rabbits - We raise rabbits as another source of protein, and sometimes sell the kits. We currently have a Silver Fox doe, and American Blue doe, and a Flemish Giant/New Zealand buck.

If you are interested in rabbits, please contact us by email here.

Meet our Farm Collies, Maisy and Tucker. These two are our chore companions and help keep our animals safe from predators.
Maisy is an Old Time Scotch Collie, a landrace breed bred to continue the tradition of old-time farm collies, and comes from a long line of working farm dogs. Tucker is a Rough Collie and our aerial predator expert. No hawk - or plane - is welcome in our airspace!
